Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

At The Energy Centre, the health and safety of our customers and technicians, as well as the stability of the wider community, has always been our top priority. As COVID-19 infections continue to spread across the country, we are actively monitoring the situation and adjusting our practices accordingly to keep in line with the Government of Canada guidelines. Despite the global pandemic, we are still committed to providing the same high-quality service you have come to expect while implementing extra precautionary measures to ensure your protection during these uncertain times.

How We Are Protecting Our Customers

To help flatten the curve, we are prioritizing the following best practices:

• All staff members are fully equipped with hand sanitizing solution, sanitary wipes, face masks, disposable gloves and boot covers, and other antibacterial cleaning supplies.
• Technicians are required to practice social distancing at all times which includes avoiding things like shaking hands with customers.
• Technicians are proactively managing the spread by limiting their exposure outside of work and reporting any flu-like symptoms which will require them to immediately follow procedures for self-quarantine.
• You may be asked to answer a few COVID-19 related health and safety questions with a team member before service appointments.
• We are closely following updated guidance from the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Steps You Can Take to Stop the Spread of COVID-19

Following guidelines from the Public Health Agency of Canada, we should all be doing our part to help slow the spread of the virus. For instance, one of the most effective methods for protecting yourself and others is by frequently washing your hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water. Additionally, try to avoid touching your face, avoid close contact with others and stay home as much as possible, even if you are not exhibiting obvious symptoms.
